Lake Tahoe Dance Festival

The Lake Tahoe Dance Festival is a presentation of the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective. The Collective’s mission is to promote classical, modern and contemporary dance of the finest quality in the Lake Tahoe area. They achieve this mission through performance, education and outreach, enriching the community as a whole and as a cultural destination.

​The Festival was started to present the finest  professional dance and dance instruction in North Lake Tahoe.

This incredible dance event is directed by longtime friends and collaborators, Constantine Baecher and Christin Hanna, who’s friendship started in 1998 at American Ballet Theatre’s summer program in New York.

​The event offers three days of main stage performances, audience participatory demonstrations, site-specific installations, meet-the-artists talks and more. The festival celebrates a variety of today’s most exciting working choreographers while preserving beloved classics of the past.
