Friday nights during summer

Music on the Beach in Kings Beach is a free popular summer concert series held every Friday from late June through August at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area.

It features local/regional bands (folk, rock, blues) breathtaking sunset views and local food/drinks in a lively family-friendly beach environment. 

Located on the largest sandy expanse of public beach on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore.

The event is very relaxed and celebratory. Visitors fill the beach with low-back chairs blankets and picnics while enjoying dancing by the shoreline. The music covers varied genres from blues to rock often including dancing and a “kid-friendly” atmosphere. Items like Craft beer, wine and local food vendors are also on site.
