New Year’s Eve at Mt. Rose

Get an early start on celebrating the new year with a day of skiing at Mt. Rose followed by New Year’s Eve at Mt. Rose. The New Year’s Eve event will showcase fireworks, and a snowcat and torchlight parade.

• Torchlight Parade 5:15pm (members of the Mt. Rose Ski Team)
• Fireworks 5:45pm

All events take place at the Mt. Rose Main Lodge.

New Year’s Eve at Mt. Rose is a very popular event, and parking is expected to FILL UP quickly. To ensure a smooth experience, plan to arrive early and consider carpooling.

*Please Note – Parking lot campfires are prohibited!

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe is located near Reno Nevada with a base elevation of (8,260) feet. The summit of (9,700) feet, features over (1,200) acres of terrain and more than (70) trails. It offers a mix of terrain for all skill levels, from beginner slopes to expert-only areas known as “The Chutes,” and is praised for its high-quality snow and convenient access to Reno.
