Paul Thorn is an American singer-songwriter. Thorn’s music is described as “taking a six-pack to church”—blends Southern rock, Americana, blues, and gospel. Based in Tupelo, Mississippi, he is celebrated for his “muscular” brand of roots music and a songwriting. Thorn’s music style balances “plainspoken, humor-laced profundity” with gritty realism.

Paul Thorn typically performs with his long-running road band. The band is comprised of lead guitarist Bill Hinds, bassist Ralph Friedrichsen, drummer Jeffrey Perkins, and keyboardist Michael Graham. 

Thorn’s 2010 album Pimps and Preachers broke into the Billboard Top 100, and he has toured with legendary artists including Bonnie Raitt, Jeff Beck, and Mark Knopfler
