The Tahoe Philharmonic Orchestra & Chorus presents Requiem: We Remember, a moving community tribute marking the 25th anniversary of September 11.
Led by Maestro James Rawie, this concert reaches beyond a single day to honor all lives lost to tragedy, conflict, disaster, and sacrifice. It also celebrates those who serve with courage and compassion.
Concert Highlights
- The Firebird Stradivarius: Internationally acclaimed violinist Jennifer Choi performs on this legendary, historic instrument.
- Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem: Experience a masterpiece known for serenity, beauty, peace, and hope rather than fear.
- Rossini & Sibelius: The evening opens with the exciting William Tell Overture and features Sibelius’s Violin Concerto in D minor.
