Tahoe Star Tours – Dark Skies Cosmoarium

Thursdays + Saturdays June-Labor Day

Gather together around a warm fire pit at one of the best places for stargazing in Tahoe at Tahoe Star Tours. Take in the galaxies above with renown star guide and poet Tony Berendsen. Get an in-depth look at our solar system and beyond with powerful Celestron telescopes. The Celestron scopes open the darks skies up to wonder. This is a one-0f- a-kind experience at Northstar California. The Dark Skies Cosmoarium will deliver wonder and amazement for your entire family at this truly unique nighttime experience.

Adult tickets $50 and Children under 12 $30

Dates: Thursdays and Saturdays starting June 18th and ending September 5th, plus August 11 & 12 for the Perseid meteor shower. Our last day of the season, September 5, will be dedicated to the astronomer Carl Sagan.

Gates open at 8:30 for check-in and orientation in parking lot #1 followed by snacks, fireside talk, and observing at dark featuring Celestron telescopes, including the new Origin smart telescopes’ views of deep space. Guests will be able to request images from the Origin to share.
