Join members of the Washoe Tribe at High Camp for an informative Washoe Cultural Talk. Tribal members will share stories of their history and culture in the Valley and surrounding mountains. They will also discuss their deep roots in Olympic Valley, Lake Tahoe, and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Your host will highlight surrounding natural landmarks, local wildlife, and traditional plant uses. Additionally, the talk covers the resort’s name change on ancestral land, an important step in recognizing the Tribe’s incredible history. Finally, you can view historical artifacts that showcase the Washoe way of life that members preserve today.

- Cost: 26/27 Ikon Pass holders and Ikon Base Pass holders receive free Aerial Tram access to High Camp. Special $29 Sightseeing Lift Tickets are available for this event with sales donated to the Washoe Cultural Fund. Guests attending talks at High Camp must purchase a Sightseeing Lift Ticket or have Ikon Pass access.
Please note: This is an outdoor event except in the case of inclement weather. We recommend that you be prepared with sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and other proper sun protection.
