Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transportation (TART)
TART provides free public transportation for the Truckee–North Lake Tahoe region, including:

North Lake Tahoe Express Bus
Year-round scheduled service between Reno-Tahoe International Airport and North Lake Tahoe with convenient local transit connections.

Tahoe Convoy
A luxury weekend shuttle from the Bay Area and Central Valley to Lake Tahoe. Eastbound trips run Friday nights and westbound trips return Sunday (or Monday on 3-day weekends). Tahoe Convoy is expanding toward year-round service.
Mountaineer On-Demand Transit – Olympic Valley & Alpine Meadows
Free on-demand in-resort shuttle service, typically operating December through April. Service expanded in 2023–24 to run later in Olympic Valley and more frequently in Alpine Meadows.
Palisades Tahoe Shuttle (Winter Only)
Runs continuously between Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows base areas when both resorts are open. More frequent service on weekends and holidays.
