Coon Street Picnic Area and Beach

Adjacent to Coon Street Boat Launch and Kings Beach State Recreation Area, Coon Street Picnic is the perfect spot for small picnics at its one acre shaded picnic area and rocky beach. Dogs are allowed, but it is very rocky especially in high lake water years. Paid parkinng is available at its large parking lot, which is shared with the boat launch. Restrooms are available in spring, summer and fall months, and the beach is close to many shops and restaurants in downtown Kings Beach.
